We’re back after a week away (Jayson’s fault) to discuss the race for the NFC North title. Based on Eric’s projections, there is a strong possibility that Green Bay and Minnesota finish the season with the same record. Unfortunately, if this is the case Green Bay would hold the tie-breaker due to division record. Nick makes a case for Detroit to help us out by playing spoiler in Week 17.

We revisit Eric’s early season take that Aaron Rodgers is washed. Nick speaks to how Rodgers risk avoidance is affecting his overall efficiency. With Rodgers falling off, Stafford being out, and Trubisky being Ponder, Kirk Cousins is clearly the best quarterback in the NFC North.

Should Kirk Cousins be in the MVP discussions? Nick says he’s in the conversation but not a serious contender unless things change drastically down the stretch. Eric says Russell Wilson is the clear MVP based on his play and the lack of help he’s getting from his supporting cast (and coaching).

Should we discount Kirk Cousins’ Performance because of the Vikings scheme? Top 3 rated offensive play callers in the NFL are Andy Reid, Greg Roman, and Kevin Stefanski. Given the inconsistency of coaching for year to year, Nick and Eric tackle the question of how they would deal with the Kirk’s future as a Viking.
