Vikings vs Cowboys - GMG In The Raw!

Vikings vs Cowboys… Good morning Horners! Your Minnesota Vikings went into Texas and defeated the Dallas Cowboys in prime time under the lights. They actually won a close game they should have. Good Morning Gjallarhorn celebrated by going live. Drew, Ted and Dave went on air to celebrate with everyone and talk about it. We first want to give a huge shout out to all that joined us, you made the night even better.

What do think of that night Dalvin Cook had? It was special with almost 100 yards rushing [he had it until the very end of the game] and 86 yards receiving. Stefon Diggs was the second leading receiver with 49 yards on a good Kirk Cousins night where he threw for 220 yards, 2 TDs and no interceptions. This led to the Vikings now sitting with a 7-3 record, one game behind the Green Bay Packers.

The Cowboys didn’t roll over and die though, they came out swinging, especially in the second quarter. Dak Prescott threw for 397 yards against Mike Zimmer’s defense. With Trae Waynes out, Mike Hughes got the start with mixed results. The defensive line and linebackers continued to get pressure but only one sack. They did however hold Ezekiel Elliott to just 47 yards rushing and 16 yards receiving. Drew did get the matchup between the two premier backs correct, and that Zim has always found a way to shut down top backs. Cook outperformed Elliott and your Vikings won the night.

We hope you have a great week celebrating the win. Vikings win, Vikings win. Now, it is onto the Denver Broncos coming to US Bank Stadium where the greatest fans in the league reside. GO VIKINGS!
